We are third party accredited for the installation and maintenance of fire doors by BM Trada.

Fire Door Installation

Whether it is a new fire door installation or replacement of an existing door, our installation service enables each of our clients to have a full and  comprehensive installation record, including photographic evidence of the installation, full test and data sheets of all materials used.


We are third party accredited by BM Trada Q mark scheme for fire door installation.  We provide all clients with a full O&M manual following installation.

Fire door surveying

Our fire door survey is undertaken in line with the procedures set out under the BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Maintenance Scheme.  Our survey is a 22 point inspection and includes, the door leaf, door frame, seals and ironmongery.  Our survey is presented in a report with photographic evidence to support the contents of the report and its recommendations. 

Fire Door Maintenance

We are able to undertake fire door maintenance in line with the Approved Repair Techniques recommended by BM Trada, in line with our accreditation from BM Trada under the Fire Door Maintenance Scheme. There are a number of fire door repairs upon which we can undertake to maintain the fire doors fire intended fire integrity.


Fire door maintenance is often a cost effective method to ensure the longevity of the fire door.  

Emergency exit and external doors

We are able to supply and install final exit doors, emergency exit door and plant room doors designed to your specific requirements.

Accredited and Qualified

RWB Building Solutions Limited is accredited by BM Trada for the installation and maintenance of fire doors.  This is known as third party accreditation in the industry.   It gives confidence to the end user that we are trained and regularly audited as a company ensuring that our standards for maintenance and installation are being maintained and adhered to.   


In addition to the company having an overall accreditation, we have also invested in training our operatives individually, to ensure that they are fully compliant and competent in the installation and maintenance of fire doors. After all fire doors are part of a building fire protection and need to operate correctly.  Our operatives are either qualified or working towards the following qualifications, Joinery NVQ Level 3, FDdip (by FDIS) and also IFSS qualification in timber fire door installation (part 1) & (part2) (by the Fire Door Academy). Our operatives also undertake regular internal fire door training and toolbox talks to understand the systems and products that we use.
