Introduction:
RWB Building Solutions were appointed to undertake a series of internal improvement and compliance works within the PBB workspace. The project focused on enhancing fire safety, improving functionality, and upgrading key internal finishes to create a safer and more practical working environment.
The works included the construction of a fire break wall to the mezzanine level, installation of compliant fire doors, creation of a kitchenette area, and the installation of new ceiling and flooring finishes. All works were carefully planned and delivered to minimise disruption while maintaining full compliance with current building and fire regulations.
Scope of Works:
RWB Building Solutions delivered a comprehensive package of internal works including:
- Construction of a fire break wall to the mezzanine level to improve fire compartmentation
- Supply and installation of compliant fire-rated doors
- Installation of a new kitchenette area including preparation of services and finishes
- Installation of new ceiling systems to improve appearance and compliance
- Supply and installation of new flooring throughout designated areas
- Making good to surrounding surfaces and finishes
- Final clean and preparation for client handover
All works were carried out in accordance with current building regulations and commercial property compliance standards.
The Results
The refurbishment was successfully completed within programme, providing PBB with a safer and more functional workspace.
